Fadojoe Declares Presidential Bid for 2027 Elections

Faduri Oluwadar Joseph, widely known as Fadojoe, has officially declared his candidacy for the 2027 presidential elections, representing the Nation Rescue Movement (NRM). In his announcement, he highlighted Nigeria's critical issues, including economic decline, insecurity, youth unemployment, and currency instability.

Fadojoe, who studied sociology at Ambrose Alli University and later became a licensed nurse in New York, invoked the legacy of Nigeria's independence leaders such as Nnamdi Azikiwe and Obafemi Awolowo. He criticized the current political practices and pledged to focus on artificial intelligence and innovation to address Nigeria's challenges.

Previously aligned with the Labour Party during the 2023 elections, where he supported Peter Obi, Fadojoe aims to stabilize the economy, strengthen the naira, and enhance local refining capacity. His campaign also includes compulsory education reforms and promoting local product manufacturing, symbolized by honeybees, representing the NRM's vision of a people's movement versus the political class.
