ADC's Rise Signals Change for APC, Says Ladan Salihu

Ladan Salihu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), articulated his concerns regarding the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governance under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He suggested that the ADC's rise could be the beginning of wisdom for the APC, which has been criticized for its handling of poverty and governance issues in Nigeria.

Salihu highlighted that the APC often reacts defensively, claiming foul play whenever issues arise that expose the government's failures. He pointed out the endemic poverty in Nigeria, attributing it to poor governance and the selection of ineffective leaders.

Salihu also noted that the ADC has gained significant traction, with nine senators defecting to the party, and emphasized the need for a consolidated opposition to challenge the current government effectively. He criticized attempts to deregister the ADC, viewing them as desperate measures by the APC to maintain control over the political landscape.
