Wike Declares Clear Path for Tinubu's 2027 Re-election

Nyesom Wike, during an inspection of the Gbazango Road, popularly known as Arab Road, expressed confidence that the path is clear for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027. He dismissed the notion of a united opposition, attributing its disintegration to selfish interests among its members.

Wike referenced comments made by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, who criticized the opposition's internal crises and alleged electoral manipulations involving former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Wike emphasized that there is no need for concern regarding opposition coalitions, asserting that they are weak and fragmented.

He also noted that the construction of the road is part of the projects marking Tinubu's third year in office, with the contractor, Zeberc, performing commendably. Wike stated that the road's completion would positively impact the community and reflect the government's commitment to improving living conditions.
