Nasarawa APC Group Demands Chairman's Resignation for Bias

A group known as ns ta g2 has called for the resignation of Aliyu Bello, the current chairman of the APC in Nasarawa State, alleging that he is biased towards specific individuals ahead of the 2027 general elections. The chairman of the group, Lazaru Salaki, stated that Bello's continued position would undermine the transparency of the primary process and erode public trust.

The group claims that Bello favors Aliyu Wadada, a close friend, as the preferred candidate, which could lead to acrimony within the party. They urged Governor Abdullahi Sule to reconsider the situation and ensure a fair and equitable selection process.

The group highlighted the importance of adhering to electoral guidelines and warned against actions that could violate these principles, emphasizing the need for a credible primary that reflects democratic norms in Nasarawa State.
