Nigerian Pilgrims to Receive NUSUK Cards for 2027 Hajj

Muhammad Kamil Kalantan, a board member of Mashariq Al Dhahabiah Company, announced that all Nigerian pilgrims will receive NUSUK cards prior to their travel for the 2027 Hajj. This decision follows challenges faced by Nigerian pilgrims during the 2025 Hajj, where the issuance of NUSUK cards was problematic.

The company plans to deploy staff to Nigeria to facilitate the issuance of these cards, ensuring a seamless experience for pilgrims traveling from Nigeria's 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The NUSUK card will simplify the pilgrimage process, allowing for easier movement and access to services in Saudi Arabia, including accommodation and transportation.

Kalantan emphasized that the initiative is part of a broader strategy to improve the Hajj experience, building on the success of the 2026 Hajj, which was marked by effective coordination between NAHCON and the Muslim Pilgrim Board Agency, led by Malam Idri Almakura.
