Hamzat to Unveil 2027 Lagos Governorship Manifesto

Obafemi Hamzat, the Lagos State Deputy Governor and All Progressives Congress governorship candidate for the 2027 election, is set to present his manifesto on Friday, October 30. In a statement shared on his X account, Hamzat outlined his priorities, which include sustaining the state’s progress, addressing critical areas, and creating opportunities for residents.

His plans encompass completing rail lines, improving transportation, expanding affordable housing, enhancing security, and upgrading healthcare across Lagos’ 57 local government areas. He emphasized the importance of education, skills development, and job creation, particularly for young people.

Hamzat also pledged support for entrepreneurs and small businesses, ensuring opportunities are accessible to all residents. On environmental management, he promised better waste management and flood prevention.

The manifesto presentation will take place at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts in Iganmu, Lagos, from 3pm to 5pm.
