Hayatu-Deen Secures N100m ADC Nomination for 2027 Elections

Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, a renowned economist, has officially picked up the N100 million presidential nomination form from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as he expresses his interest in running for the presidency in the 2027 elections. He is the first aspirant to obtain this nomination form from the ADC.

Hayatu-Deen received the form from the party's national organizing secretary, Chinedu Idigo, who described the move as a strong sign of growing momentum for his candidacy. In a statement, Hayatu-Deen emphasized his focus on restoring Nigeria's economy, strengthening security, and addressing the high cost of living that millions of Nigerians face.

He highlighted the need for a stable environment to foster economic growth and job creation, stating that many Nigerians are struggling to afford basic necessities. The ADC has scheduled the sale of presidential nomination forms from May 6 to May 13, 2026.

The Independent National Electoral Commission has set the presidential and national assembly elections for January 16, 2027.
