Hayatu-Deen Pledges 60% Poverty Reduction by 2027

Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, a presidential aspirant for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), officially submitted his presidential nomination form at the ADC national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday night, amid significant support from party members and youth groups. He vowed to reduce poverty by 60%, address insecurity, and create jobs across Nigeria within four years of his potential presidency in 2027.

Hayatu-Deen emphasized the need to rebuild Nigeria's economy, stating that insecurity remains one of the greatest threats to national development. He expressed confidence in his ability to implement policies that would lower the cost of doing business, support small and medium-sized enterprises, and expand opportunities for young Nigerians.

He also highlighted the importance of democracy, asserting that every eligible Nigerian has the right to contest for office. Hayatu-Deen, who has decades of experience in business and economic management, aims to eradicate poverty affecting 136 million Nigerians living below the poverty line.
