Hayatu-Deen Urges Youth to Vote for Jobs in 2027

Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, a presidential aspirant for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), addressed Nigerian youths at a town hall meeting held at Novar Mall in Abuja on Thursday. He urged them to demand accountable leadership in the 2027 general elections, emphasizing the need to focus on job creation to combat rising unemployment and insecurity.

Hayatu-Deen criticized the current political leadership for failing to invest in human capital and for perpetuating economic hardship. He highlighted that two-thirds of Nigeria's population is under 35, stressing that the future of the nation lies in addressing the pain and challenges faced by the youth.

He proposed policies including a guarantee of 100 days of public work annually for low-income Nigerians and tax incentives for businesses employing vulnerable communities. Hayatu-Deen also shared a personal story about his sister's abduction, reinforcing his commitment to tackling violent crime and insecurity.

He concluded by calling on the ADC to present credible candidates who prioritize job security and economic recovery.
