Peter Obi Defends Capability to Fix Nigeria in 2027

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), addressed claims made by Datti Baba-Ahmed, who stated that none of the leading candidates for the 2027 presidential election, including Obi, could fix Nigeria. In an interview on Arise News, Obi defended his capability to improve the country, referencing his tenure as governor of Anambra State.

He asserted that he successfully enhanced critical areas of development in Anambra and could replicate this success nationally. Obi outlined his governance priorities, including promoting civility, reducing the cost of governance, fighting corruption, and ensuring law and order.
