POMR Defends Peter Obi's Ability to Rescue Nigeria

The Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR) issued a statement on Monday, rejecting comments made by Dr Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, who questioned the ability of any individual, including Peter Obi, to rescue Nigeria from its systemic challenges. POMR, represented by spokesman Idris Zekeri Jnr, argued that Obi's record as the former Governor of Anambra State demonstrates his capacity to lead reforms and tackle Nigeria's issues, which stem from years of mismanagement and corruption.

Zekeri acknowledged the severity of Nigeria's problems but insisted that Obi's governance approach, characterized by fiscal discipline and investment in key sectors, proves he can effectively manage public resources. POMR asserted that rescuing Nigeria requires a leader who can build competent teams and institutions for sustainable development, emphasizing that Obi should not be viewed as a messiah but as a capable leader with a proven track record.
