Ijaw Leaders Urge Jonathan to Support Tinubu in 2027 Elections

Ijaw political leaders in Nigeria have urged former President Goodluck Jonathan not to divide the unity of the southern region in the upcoming 2027 elections. They declared their support for President Bola Tinubu's reelection bid during a meeting in Arogbo town.

The leaders also aligned efforts with high chief Oweizidei Ekpomupolo Tompolo to garner support for Tinubu across the Niger Delta. This move aims to prevent the division of southern votes and sabotage Tinubu's presidential ambitions.
