PDP Aspirant Turaki Vows to Defeat Bala Mohammed's Candidate

Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, a current aspirant of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), stated his intention to defeat any candidate supported by Governor Bala Mohammed in the 2027 elections. Speaking at the PDP national headquarters in Abuja after submitting his nomination form, Turaki expressed confidence that the PDP would retain power in Bauchi State, which he described as a traditional stronghold for the party.

He insisted that there are no factions within the PDP in Bauchi and dismissed concerns regarding the influence of the incumbent governor, asserting that political power ultimately belongs to God. Turaki emphasized the need for unity among women, youth, and elders in the state to pursue a development-driven agenda.

He also mentioned the importance of adopting a development blueprint for Bauchi, which has not been fully utilized over the past 20 years, assuring that there are no limits to what can be achieved.
