Bless Fubara Declares Candidacy for Rivers Governorship

Bless Fubara, brother of the current Rivers State Governor, has officially declared his candidacy for the 2027 governorship election under the Nigerian Democratic Congress. During a political gathering, he stated his commitment to serve only a single term of four years if elected.

Fubara highlighted the recent political crises that have hindered economic growth and stability in Rivers State, asserting that the people deserve better governance. He pledged to uphold the existing political rotation formula among the senatorial districts in the state, which he believes is crucial for maintaining peace.
