PRP's Kingsley Advocates for Inclusive Governance in Nigeria

Engr. (Dr) Yakubu Mohammed Kingsley, the presidential aspirant for the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), has expressed his commitment to establishing an inclusive government that represents all interests in Nigeria. He stated that the country's diversity should be a source of national strength rather than exclusion.

Currently, he is awaiting a Federal High Court judgment scheduled for November 2, 2026, concerning a dispute with Mr Donald Duke over the party's presidential primary election held on May 25. Kingsley emphasized that public offices should not be allocated based on ethnicity, religion, or political loyalty, advocating for merit-based appointments.

He aims to create a transparent public appointments framework to ensure equitable representation across various demographics. Kingsley believes that inclusion should extend beyond appointments to involve various societal groups, including political parties, civil society, and professional organizations, in national development.

He aims to promote a governance model based on merit, integrity, and accountability.
