PRP's Kingsley Demands Clarity from 2027 Election Opponents

Engr. (Dr) Yakubu Mohammed Kingsley, a presidential aspirant for the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), has called on opposition candidates for the 2027 presidential election to articulate their developmental plans to Nigerians. He emphasized that voters deserve to know the candidates' implementation strategies, required resources, and expected outcomes.

Kingsley, who is awaiting a Federal High Court judgment on November 2, 2026, regarding a dispute over the party’s presidential primary election, criticized some political figures for focusing more on acquiring power than on presenting viable governance alternatives. He stated that the upcoming presidential campaign should prioritize ideas, policies, and practical solutions over personal attacks.

Kingsley is currently challenging the declaration of Donald Duke as the winner of the May 25 presidential poll of PRP in court. He acknowledged the current administration's road infrastructure projects but noted that many Nigerians continue to face economic hardships, which must be addressed.
