Kingsley Advocates Integrity to Rebuild Nigerian Patriotism

Engr. (Dr) Yakubu Mohammed Kingsley, a presidential aspirant for the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), has urged governments at all levels to restore integrity and accountability in governance to rebuild patriotism in Nigeria. He is contesting the declaration of Donald Duke as the winner of the May 25 poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and is awaiting a Federal High Court judgment set for November 2 regarding this primary election dispute.

In a statement titled “Rebuilding Patriotism” released in Abuja, Kingsley expressed dissatisfaction with public institutions that fail to reward hard work and provide equal opportunities. He emphasized that accountability and transparency from public officials are crucial for citizens to trust the national project.

Kingsley argued that the perception of Nigerians as unpatriotic overlooks their ongoing passion for the country, as demonstrated by their achievements in various fields and unity during international competitions.
