Namdas Declares Gubernatorial Ambition for Adamawa APC

On Wednesday, Abdulrazak Namdas, a former member of the House of Representatives and former chairman of the House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, officially declared his intent to contest for the gubernatorial seat of Adamawa State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Speaking in Yola, he described himself as the best candidate to lead the Adamawa APC to victory in the 2027 elections.

Namdas's decision followed extensive consultations with various segments of society, including youth and women groups, and he assured that his candidacy would be free, fair, and credible. He emphasized prioritizing rural development, education, health, water supply, and youth and women empowerment.

Namdas highlighted his political experience and track record as qualifications that set him apart from other candidates. He also addressed the security challenges in the state, particularly the farmer-herder clashes.

Alh Abdulrahman Shuaibu, chairman of the campaign steering committee, called on the people of Adamawa to rally around Namdas's candidacy for a better state.
