Umar Namadi Affirmed as APC Governorship Candidate for 2027

On Thursday, during a consensus exercise at Dutsin-Ma Township Stadium, Umar Namadi was unanimously affirmed as the governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State for the upcoming 2027 general elections. The exercise was supervised by Mr.

Isa Sadik Achida, the chairman of the electoral committee for the governorship consensus exercise. Following the affirmation, Namadi expressed gratitude to Allah for the opportunity and thanked party leaders, stakeholders, and members for their support and confidence in him.

He emphasized the importance of continuing the good work and projects initiated during his tenure, assuring the people of Jigawa that he would strive to deliver on his promises.
