Imo APC Chairman Pledges Votes for Tinubu's 2027 Re-election

Austin Onyedebelu, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, made a commitment to ensure substantial votes for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 presidential election. This declaration was made during a stakeholders meeting involving the APC's state working committee and officials from nine local government areas and 105 wards in the Owerri Zone.

Onyebebelu emphasized that unity within the party is its greatest strength and urged members to work collaboratively to achieve an overwhelming victory for Tinubu. He warned party officials to be accountable for the party's performance and to address any issues that could lead to a loss of votes.

Onyebebelu also cautioned against engaging in anti-party activities and stressed the importance of genuine grassroots mobilization rather than seeking shortcuts. He described the 2027 general election as crucial for the Owerri Zone, which is expected to produce the next governor of Imo State.
