PDP's Ogidi Critiques INEC's Alleged Bias Ahead of 2027

Emmanuel Ogidi, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), expressed concerns regarding the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during an interview on Monday. He criticized INEC for allegedly taking sides in the political arena, particularly by calling a meeting with political parties without extending an invitation to the PDP.

Ogidi stated that this action compromises the integrity of the electoral process and poses a danger to the upcoming 2027 general elections. He lamented the current situation in Nigeria, highlighting the frustrations of citizens and the challenges faced by the PDP.

Despite these challenges, Ogidi expressed optimism that the PDP would recover and defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming elections, asserting that with God's grace, the party would regain its position.
