Izzi Stakeholders Endorse Nwifuru for 2027 Election

On Saturday, stakeholders from the Izzi Local Government Area in Ebonyi State gathered at the council headquarters in Iboko to endorse Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for a second term in office. The event was attended by traditional rulers, political leaders, community stakeholders, youth, women's groups, and elder statesmen, reflecting a significant grassroots political mobilization.

The endorsement was led by the executive chairman of Izzi LGA, Steve Emenik Nwankpa, who emphasized that the decision was based on a comprehensive assessment of the governor's performance. The gathering included representatives from 18 autonomous communities within the Izzi LGA, symbolizing a collective resolve to support Nwifuru's re-election bid.

This political declaration followed extensive consultations involving hundreds of village heads and town union executives, addressing security and development issues in the area.
