Jandor Reaffirms 2027 Lagos Governorship Bid Amid Consensus Talks

Abdul Azeez Olajid Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has reiterated his commitment to contest the 2027 Lagos governorship election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). This announcement comes amid discussions regarding a consensus candidate involving the current Deputy Governor, Kadir Obafemi Hamzat.

Despite reports suggesting Hamzat's endorsement as a consensus candidate, the APC leadership has confirmed that primary elections will proceed for all aspirants. Jandor, who was the PDP governorship candidate in the 2023 elections, is preparing to participate in the APC governorship primary alongside other contenders.

Additionally, members of the "Jagaban Jandor 2027 Movement" have launched a fundraising initiative aimed at supporting Jandor's campaign efforts, emphasizing grassroots contributions and community involvement in the electoral process.
