Jandor Consults GAC for Lagos 2027 Governorship Race

Abdul Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, is engaging with members of the Lagos State Governor's Advisory Council (GAC) in preparation for the 2027 governorship election. His consultations are part of a broader strategy to strengthen grassroots structures and build support among party members.

A statement from his spokesman, issued on Tuesday, clarified Jandor's readiness to abide by the party's consensus arrangements despite recent speculation regarding possible endorsements within the party. Concurrently, Lagos State Deputy Governor Hamzat met with GAC members and party leaders, including elder statesman Tajudeen Olusi and prominent figures Mutiu Musiliu Obanikoro and Bode Oyedele, to discuss leadership and the future direction of Lagos State.

The deputy governor emphasized the importance of collaboration and learning from party elders during this consultative process.
