Niger APC Affirms Bago as 2027 Governorship Candidate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State has officially affirmed Alhaji Moham Umaru Bago as its candidate for the 2027 governorship elections. This decision was made during a meeting held at the APC secretariat in Minna on Thursday.

Senator Moham Sani Musa, representing Niger East in the National Assembly, moved the motion for Bago's affirmation, which was seconded by Mr. Affiniki Dauda, the Deputy Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly.

The motion received overwhelming support when put to a vote. Governor Bago accepted the nomination and expressed gratitude for the affirmation process.

The event was attended by Alhaji Danlami Moham Abubakar, head of the APC National Electoral Committee, and Alhaji Moham Garki from the Niger State Independent Electoral Commission.
