Kano Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Retains Garo for 2027

On a strategic meeting held in Abuja, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf announced that Murtala Sule Galadima Garo will continue as his running mate for the upcoming 2027 governorship election. The announcement was made public through a statement issued by the governor's spokesman, Sunusi Batur Dawakin Tofa, on Monday.

Governor Yusuf expressed satisfaction with the working relationship with Garo, highlighting his competence, dedication, and responsiveness in discharging his duties as deputy governor. Yusuf stated that he has no regrets about choosing Garo as his deputy, noting that Garo's contributions have strengthened the administration's efforts to deliver development across Kano State.
