Kano Governor Pledges Support for Tinubu in 2027 Elections

On a Saturday interactive session, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf announced the state's intention to deliver overwhelming votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. He urged political appointees to intensify grassroots mobilization in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Yusuf reaffirmed the administration's commitment to ensuring the APC's victory in presidential, governorship, national assembly, state assembly, and local government elections. He directed political appointees who are not registered APC members to do so immediately and stressed the importance of their active participation in strengthening the party's structure.

Additionally, Yusuf approved the allocation of land plots for 300 political aides and the payment of 100,000 beneficiaries. Kano State House of Assembly Speaker Ismail Falgor and APC Chairman Umar Haruna Doguwa expressed confidence in the party's preparations for the upcoming elections, indicating a strong resolve against the Kwankwasiyya movement.
