Gov Yusuf Affirms Support for Tinubu Ahead of 2027 Elections

Governor Yusuf of Kano stated there would be no apologies for his support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 2027 presidential elections approach. During an interactive session, he emphasized the importance of political appointments being filled by registered members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to strengthen the party's structure.

Yusuf directed that all political appointees must be active participants in the APC. He also approved the allocation of land plots for 300 political aides and authorized payments of N100,000 to beneficiaries.

In his remarks, he highlighted the achievements of the Tinubu administration and the need for continued support from the Kano State House of Assembly. Kano APC Chairman Umar Haruna Doguwa declared that the battle lines have been drawn against the Kwankwasiyya movement, and Governor Yusuf pledged to intensify grassroots mobilization to ensure APC's victory in the upcoming general elections.
