Kano Governor Abba Yusuf Backs Tinubu for 2027 Elections

On Saturday, Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf declared the state's full commitment to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 general elections. During an interactive session held at the Coronation Hall of the Government House in Kano, Yusuf stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is determined to deliver overwhelming votes for Tinubu.

He instructed all political appointees to register as APC members to strengthen the party's structure across the state. Yusuf emphasized the need for every elected official to actively participate in building the party ahead of the elections.

He also approved the allocation of land for 300 political aides and the payment of N100,000 to beneficiaries. Ismail Falgor, Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, and Umar Haruna Doguwa, Kano APC Chairman, expressed confidence in the party's achievements under Tinubu's leadership and readiness for the electoral battle against the Kwankwasiyya movement.
