Kano Governor Yusuf Backs Tinubu for 2027 Elections

During an interactive meeting at the Government House in Kano, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf declared the state's commitment to ensuring the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. The statement, issued by the governor's spokesperson Sunusi Batur Dawakin Tofa, highlighted Yusuf's directive for all political appointees to register with the All Progressives Congress (APC) to strengthen the party's structure ahead of the elections.

Yusuf expressed no regrets in supporting Tinubu and emphasized the importance of delivering massive votes for the APC. He also approved the allocation of land plots to 300 political aides and announced a payment of N100,000 to beneficiaries.

Kano State House of Assembly Speaker Ismail Falgor and APC Chairman Umar Haruna Doguwa also expressed confidence in the party's readiness for the political contest against the Kwankwasiyya movement, aiming for victory in the 2027 elections.
