Kwankwaso Hosts Obi, Makinde, and Dickson in Kano

On a recent occasion in Kano, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso hosted prominent opposition leaders, including Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections, Seyi Makinde, the Oyo State Governor, and Seriake Dickson, the former Bayelsa State Governor. This gathering coincided with the Sallah celebration and was described by Kwankwaso as a joyful occasion to honor the leaders.

The meeting, which was closed to the public, is believed to be part of ongoing political realignments among opposition parties in preparation for the 2027 general elections. Kwankwaso emphasized the need for unity among opposition leaders to effectively challenge the ruling party, the APC, led by President Bola Tinubu.
