Kwara APC Aspirant Ahmad Mahmoud Rejoins Guber Race

Ahmad Mahmoud has officially rescinded his earlier decision to withdraw from the Kwara APC governorship race, which he had announced in favor of Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki. His return to the race was confirmed in a statement issued on Thursday, following consultations with party stakeholders across the state.

Mahmoud expressed his commitment to the party's unity and leadership under Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. He acknowledged the changing political situation in the state and the support he received from various groups, including elders, youth, and women organizations across all 16 local government areas.

Mahmoud aims to consolidate achievements and set unprecedented standards in governance, focusing on infrastructure, education reform, and rural development. He holds Seriki in high regard and believes that healthy competition within the APC will strengthen the party ahead of the general elections.
