Kwara APC Elders Endorse Bolarinwa for 2027 Governorship

On Sunday, the elders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State publicly endorsed Dr. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa as their preferred candidate for the 2027 governorship election.

The announcement was made during a press conference in Ilorin, where Alhaji Ladi Mustapha, a former APC legal adviser, emphasized Bolarinwa's proven integrity and extensive governance experience. Bolarinwa, who has a political career spanning two decades, began as a councillor and served two terms as chairman of the Lagos Mainland Local Government, followed by two terms as a member of the House of Representatives.

He is recognized for his organizational capabilities and effective management of human resources. Bolarinwa formally declared his intent to run on April 28, 2026, and aims to address pressing issues such as security, healthcare, education, agriculture, and social welfare.

The endorsement highlights his ability to foster inclusivity across Kwara's three senatorial districts, transcending ethnic and religious divides.
