Coalition Backs Bolarinwa for Kwara Governorship 2027

A coalition of elders from the three senatorial districts of Kwara State held a press conference in Ilorin, where they expressed their support for Dr. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial elections. The spokesperson, Barrister Ladi Mustapha, emphasized that the coalition is committed to ensuring that no ethnic group or religion in the state will face marginalization under Bolarinwa's leadership.

The coalition included notable figures such as former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Ezekiel Benjamin, and former Deputy Speaker of the 9th Assembly, Hon. Raphael Adetiba. They stated that their support for Bolarinwa comes after extensive consultations to assess the qualities of various aspirants in the current political landscape.

The coalition firmly believes that Bolarinwa stands out as a candidate with proven integrity and experience, capable of unifying the state and addressing its leadership needs.
