Kwara APC Stakeholders Back Consensus for 2027 Elections

On Thursday, stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State convened in Ilorin to express their readiness to support a consensus arrangement for adopting party leadership in preparation for the 2027 general elections. The stakeholders, represented by Prof.

Khalid Dasuki and Amb. Julius Balogun, reaffirmed their confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

They commended the party leadership for demonstrating foresight and promoting unity among neighboring states such as Osun, Oyo, and Ogun. The group emphasized the importance of settling on credible candidates who can effectively confront opposition threats and highlighted the need for the party to maintain its power in Kwara State beyond 2027.

The stakeholders collectively expressed their commitment to rallying APC members across the state in support of any decisions made by the party leadership.
