Kwara APC Stakeholders Back Tinubu's Consensus Plan

On Thursday, stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State reaffirmed their commitment to support President Bola Tinubu and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq regarding a consensus arrangement for the upcoming 2027 general elections. During a media briefing in Ilorin, the group, represented by Prof.

Khalid Dasuki and Ambassador Julius Balogun, expressed confidence in the leadership of the party at both state and national levels. They noted that the consensus arrangement aims to preserve party stability and strengthen internal unity, which is crucial for confronting opposition.

The stakeholders highlighted the successful navigation of political challenges in the past, particularly referencing the 2019 elections and the emergence of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. They urged party leadership to ensure that candidates possess the necessary qualities to sustain APC's dominance in the state and called for mobilization of party members to support whatever decisions are made by the APC leadership.
