Kwara PDP Aims to Reclaim Power in 2027 Elections

The Kwara State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), under the leadership of Hon. Issa Bawa Adamu, has expressed its commitment to winning the 2027 general elections. During a rally in Ilorin, Adamu described the gathering as a turning point for the party, emphasizing that the PDP is prepared to offer a credible alternative to the current administration.

He criticized the existing government for its failures, particularly citing issues of insecurity and uneven development in the state. Adamu noted that the PDP has strengthened its internal structures following a successful national convention in Abuja, positioning itself as a cohesive unit ready to present capable candidates.

He also raised concerns about the suppression of dissent and the detention of youths critical of the government, urging members of other political parties to join the PDP in a collective effort to rebuild Kwara State and serve its people effectively.
