Gwamna Urges APC Unity Amid Consensus Discontent in Gombe

Gwamna, the APC Consensus Candidate for the 2027 elections, called for unity among party members during a press conference. He acknowledged growing discontent regarding the consensus arrangement that produced the party's flagbearer and urged members to support various contests and work together for electoral success.

Gwamna stressed that unity is critical for the APC's success in upcoming elections, including presidential, gubernatorial, senatorial, and state assembly elections. He attributed the emergence of the consensus candidate to divine will and encouraged dissatisfied members to accept the outcome in good faith, asserting that power ultimately belongs to Allah.

Gwamna expressed gratitude to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his support throughout the process. Former Minister Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, an aspirant, rejected the consensus process, describing it as a violation of due process and called for calm while pursuing legal remedies.
