Gwamna Declares 2027 Gombe Governorship Bid with APC

Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna formally declared his intent to contest the 2027 governorship election in Gombe State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by submitting a letter of intent.

This significant move marks an early shift in the state's political landscape ahead of the gubernatorial elections. The submission took place during a brief ceremony at the APC state secretariat in Gombe.

Gwamna articulated a vision aimed at consolidating existing achievements while introducing innovative policies for long-term development and inclusive growth, focusing on improving the welfare of citizens. He, popularly known as Sardaunan Gombe, pledged to commit to good governance, transparency, and people-oriented leadership.

His proposed administration priorities include peace, unity, economic expansion, and empowerment of youth and women, alongside sustainable infrastructure development. Gwamna urged party members and the public to support his bid and expressed confidence in building a prosperous future for Gombe State.

APC state chairman Moham Dantata Ndu welcomed Gwamna's declaration and stressed the importance of unity among party members in preparation for the upcoming general elections.
