Taofeek Arapaja Joins APC, Leaving PDP Behind

Taofeek Arapaja, who served as the Deputy Governor of Oyo State from 2007 to 2011 under Governor Adebayo Alao Akala, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). This announcement was made by APC chieftain Ayekooto Akindele on a Facebook post.

Arapaja was previously affiliated with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), where he held the position of Deputy National Chairman (South) and served as the National Secretary. His political journey includes being a former council chairman and representing the Ibadan North East and Ibadan South East Federal Constituency on the PDP platform from 2003 to 2007.

Reports indicate that Arapaja met with President Bola Tinubu in Abuja, further solidifying his new alliance with the APC.
