Mbah Declares Candidacy for Enugu APC Governorship 2027

On a recent Friday, Peter Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State, declared his candidacy for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship position in the 2027 elections. During an event led by Hon. Danmalikin Hausa, chairman of the Enugu State APC Governorship Primary Election Committee, Mbah highlighted the progress made under his stewardship, emphasizing that his administration has kept its campaign promises.

He noted significant improvements in various sectors, including healthcare, agriculture, and infrastructure, and mentioned the establishment of 260 primary healthcare centers to enhance rural healthcare access. Mbah acknowledged President Bola Tinubu's policies that have contributed to the state's success and called for unity within the party.

The primary election saw 397,370 accredited party members participating across 260 wards, and Mbah expressed his commitment to ensuring that the people of Enugu State continue to see a return on their investment in governance.
