D’Banj Donates Campaign Vehicles to Pelumi Olajengbesi

Nigerian singer Dapo Oyebanjo, known as D’Banj, donated three brand-new Sienna space buses to lawyer and politician Pelumi Olajengbesi to support his ambition to represent the Oriade-Obokun Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2027. The presentation occurred in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, on a Thursday.

Olajengbesi shared the news of the donation via Facebook the following day, expressing surprise and gratitude for the support from D’Banj. He revealed that D’Banj had contacted him two weeks prior to request details for his campaign branding, which Olajengbesi initially thought was related to D’Banj’s CREAM project aimed at supporting young creatives.

Upon receiving the vehicles, Olajengbesi quoted D’Banj as saying, “It’s my token of support.” This gesture comes as Olajengbesi gains public support for his political journey, having previously served as the campaign spokesman for Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke during the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
