Nasarawa Accountant General Mohammed Enters Governorship Race

Musa Ahm Mohammed, the current Accountant General of Nasarawa State, has officially announced his candidacy for the governorship in the upcoming 2027 elections. His declaration took place at a rally organized in Lafia, where he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn from the current governor, Abdullahi Sule.

Mohammed highlighted the pressure from elders and stakeholders in the state that influenced his decision to enter the race, stating it was a clarion call to sacrifice his current position for a higher purpose. He praised Governor Sule as one of the best governors in the country, noting Sule's transformative leadership that has made Nasarawa a reference point among its peers.

Mohammed, who has previously served as a two-time Speaker of the State House of Assembly, assured supporters that he would not disappoint them if elected.
