NDC Senate Aspirant Iliyasu Serves Notice to INEC, Party

Dr. Ibrahim Ado Iliyasu, a Chartered Arbitrator and President of the North Central People Development Initiative (NCPDI), has filed pre-action notices against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the national leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) regarding alleged unlawful interference with his electoral mandate for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Senate seat.

He submitted these notices at the INEC and NDC headquarters in Abuja. Iliyasu emphasized that his actions are in line with the Constitution, the Electoral Act, and democratic principles, and he is pursuing redress through lawful means.

He stated that the mandate given to him by party members was unjustly taken away and called for INEC's neutrality and adherence to the NDC's internal democratic processes. Iliyasu expressed gratitude to his supporters and urged them to remain peaceful while the matter is pursued legally, affirming confidence that justice will prevail.

His campaign has focused on people-centered leadership, healthcare improvement, and inclusive representation for FCT residents.
