Kwankwaso Arrives in Port Harcourt for NDC Engagements

Rabi’u Kwankwaso, the 2027 Vice Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), arrived in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Wednesday for a series of political engagements designed to enhance the party's presence and mobilization efforts in the South-South region ahead of the 2027 general elections. His arrival was announced by the OK Movement via a statement on its verified 𝕏 handle.

The movement expressed its delight in welcoming Kwankwaso, emphasizing the importance of building support and unity among Nigerians. This visit follows a recent meeting between Kwankwaso and NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi at the Obidient Movement headquarters in Abuja, marking their collaborative efforts in preparation for the upcoming presidential contest.

Both Kwankwaso and Obi transitioned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the NDC in May, citing internal disagreements and ongoing court cases within the ADC as their reasons for leaving.
