New Nigerian Mandate Calls for Responsible Voting

The New Nigerian Mandate, a non-partisan movement, has appealed to Nigerians to vote responsibly in the upcoming elections. Joe Daniel Umezulik, the group's chief, made a statement available to journalists, outlining the movement's mission to promote responsible leadership and support candidates regardless of political affiliation.

The organization encourages Nigerians to assess presidential aspirants based on defined leadership qualities, including honesty, accountability, patriotism, respect for the rule of law, economic competence, security awareness, and genuine commitment to national unity and progress. The movement invites members and citizens to submit names of preferred presidential candidates, with a review and evaluation period set to conclude at the end of the consultation phase.

Following this, the New Nigerian Mandate will publicly announce the presidential candidates that best meet their established criteria, aiming to identify individuals capable of advancing Nigeria's development.
