Dickson Unveils NDC Membership Portal, Calls for Change

Seriak Dickson, the former governor of Bayelsa State and current senator representing Bayelsa West, addressed the growing dissatisfaction among Nigerians with the current political situation during an event in Abuja. He emphasized that citizens are "angry and hungry for change" as the country approaches the 2027 general elections.

Dickson unveiled a digital membership registration portal for the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), which he described as a significant step towards expanding political participation and strengthening the party's organizational structure nationwide. He urged Nigerians to seek genuine political change and likened the emergence of the NDC to the biblical story of Noah's Ark.

Dickson noted that despite the NDC being only a week old, it has already attracted significant attention and support across the nation. He also announced his resignation from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), citing internal crises and poor leadership as reasons for his departure.
