Dickson Unveils NDC Membership Portal, Urges Political Change

Henry Seriake Dickson, the former governor of Bayelsa State and current senator representing Bayelsa West, addressed the growing dissatisfaction among Nigerians regarding the current political climate during a press conference in Abuja. He emphasized that citizens are angry and hungry for change as the country approaches the 2027 general elections.

Dickson unveiled a digital membership registration portal for the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), which he described as a significant step towards expanding political participation and strengthening the party's organizational structure nationwide. He likened the emergence of the NDC to the biblical story of Noah's Ark, urging Nigerians to seek genuine political change through this new platform.

The NDC, which is only a week old, has already begun to attract significant attention and support across the nation. Dickson also announced his resignation from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) due to internal crises and poor leadership within the opposition party.
