NDC Urges Inclusive Leadership from Bayelsa Governor Diri

The Bayelsa State chapter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on Governor Douye Diri to adopt a more inclusive leadership approach that prioritizes the interests of Bayelsans. NDC Chairman Hon.

Dauprebo Ikuromo stated that no form of inducement would divert the party from its objective of assuming leadership in the state. He recommended that resources be allocated to address urgent developmental issues, including the non-operational gas turbine.

Ikuromo also indicated that a grievance redress mechanism should be established within the party. Senator Henri Seriake Dickson, a member of the NDC and the party's national executive council, is expected to release a list of candidates for various positions within a timeframe set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Ikuromo praised Dickson's leadership for managing the primary election process fairly and ensuring equitable opportunities for aspirants, while also recognizing the importance of youth and women's inclusion in the party's primary initiatives.
