APC Confirms No Extension for 2027 Election Form Sales

The All Progressives Congress (APC), through its national chairman, Prof. Nantew Yilwatda, stated there are no intentions to extend the sale of nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.

The sale is set to occur from April 25 to May 2. Yilwatda highlighted that the party's National Working Committee (NWC) will decide on any potential extensions, which would follow due process.

He praised the current sale process, indicating it has been seamless and reflects the party's commitment to democratic practices in Nigeria. Yilwatda noted that the ability for individuals to contest for presidential positions demonstrates the level of democracy within the APC.

He also mentioned that there are no challenges regarding the sale of forms, and the party staff will oversee the clearance department to monitor the process and address any complaints reported on social media.
